Research Institute
Our research institute consists of a Japanese sword gallery and private multi media library that is stocked with material specific to Japanese history, society and culture. Our library is home to over 3000 multi media reference volumes, which vary in title from language encyclopedia to how to properly wear a kimono. Translation services are also offered. Our facilities computers are equipped with Japanese language operating systems. A premium is charged for the professional translation of either modern or old Japanese text to English. Appraisal services include those for the Japanese sword and koshirae (sword furniture). Our research institute can also provide a “bridge” for those companies with a desire to become part of the Japanese business community. This includes professional consulting and liaison representation for those businesses that would like to establish either a point of presence or distribution channel for their product within Japan. The research library is also available for use by appointment for members of the JCS&RIONEPA Professional Bujutsu Apprentice Program.
